Who We are
The Bill and Betsy Scheben Care Center, part of The Point/Arc of Northern Kentucky family dedicated to the mission of helping adults with disabilities maintain their ability to function in the home and the community. We also provide respite for families and caregivers to reduce the physical, emotional and financial stress experienced during long-term care.
We want to help our clients achieve lifetime abilities. We do this by providing excellent medical rehabilitative services to meet the individual needs of each of our clients.
Our Center serves persons over 16 years of age who have medical, physical, social, and/or cognitive disabilities. Our service area includes Northern Kentucky and the surrounding counties. Hours of operation for the Adult Day Care are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. For more information regarding our medical model day program or respite, please contact Lisa West at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We also offer Medicaid Transportation services to not only our facility, but to a number of other facilities in Northern Kentucky. For more information regarding transportation services, please contact Kym Hodge at email@example.com.

Adult Day Care has three major goals:
- To provide daytime nursing care and supervised activity based on rehabilitation principles to medically compromised and/or disabled adults in order to maintain their ability to function in the home and community
- To provide respite for families/caregivers in order to reduce the physical, emotional and financial stress experienced during long-term care
- To prevent unnecessary or premature institutionalization of persons appropriate for the intermediate level of nursing home care.
The program operates in compliance with the standards recommended by the National Adult Day Services Association (NADSA) and the licensing regulations of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
