Scheben Center Awarded Grant From Kentucky Colonels

May 22, 2020

The Bill & Betsy Scheben Care Center is proud to announce it received a grant from the Kentucky Colonels (HOKC) in the amount of $5,000 to assist with patching walls and painting the interior of the building.  The Kentucky Colonels made their awards earlier than anticipated in hopes that non-profits could benefit from the closure time to complete projects such as this one.

"This award made it possible to go ahead and get a project completed while the day program and building have been closed due to the Governor's order late March" stated Lisa West, Executive Director.

The Bill & Betsy Scheben Care Center serves Northern Kentucky by providing day time support for adults and teens with physical and/or intellectual disabilities and the elderly.

In the 2020 Grant Cycle, The Kentucky Colonels philanthropic Good Works Program has assisted 3.9 million people, provided 2.5 million in grant funding around the world and awarded grants to 133 non-profits!  For more information visit www.kycolonels.org.
